Cleaning and separation systems

All belts and rollers are hydraulically driven and therefore speeds can be steplessly adjusted. The ROPA Keiler has large cleaning components with maximum cleaning area for gentle and efficient cleaning. The ROPA Keiler is particularly efficient for harvesting on heavy soils and/or during bad weather.

KEILER 2 RK22 CLASSIC

KEILER 2 RK22 CLASSIC

The Keiler 2 Classic with 2 pintle belts is perfect for high performance and gentle separation of crop and impurities on loose soils.

KEILER 2 RK22 WITH 4 PINTLE BELTS

KEILER 2 RK22 WITH 4 PINTLE BELTS

When it comes to a high-performance separation of crop and impurities, the Keiler 2 with 4 pintle belts proves to be the most suitable.

DoubleSelect is the option for increased separation performance on cloddy and stony soils.

Twin-clean

In the Keiler 2 RK22, the first lifting chain or sieve conveyor is hydraulically reversible

With Twin Clean, ROPA introduces a new optional split of the first sieve conveyor into a lifting chain and a sieve conveyor. This configuration allows both belts to be operated with different pitches and speeds. It is useful for both quick replacement of the lifting chain as well as adjustment to different harvesting conditions or when switching to onions. The optimized sieve channel is designed in such a way that the Twin Clean can also be easily retrofitted later. Switching between Twin Clean and the sieve conveyor can be performed quickly and easily during the season. The height difference of the conveyors additionally improves the sieving performance.

Hydraulic drives:

1. Shaker

2. Sieve conveyor

3. Lifter chain

Trash management

Improved leaf chain routing and leaf retainer springs

The interaction between the leaf chain and the arrangement of the retention springs has been adapted for optimized leaf removal and improved separation as well as reducing potato losses at the same time. The pull-off rods can be easily installed if required.

Dirt discharge conveyor

Dirt discharge conveyor

The leaf chain, which can be selected in different pitches, separates leaf residues from the potato flow and conveys them to the rear of the machine.

Trash discharge conveyor

Trash discharge conveyor

The admixtures sorted out by pintle belt 1/leaf chain and sorting staff/UFK are reliably guided via both discharge conveyors at the front and rear out of the machine, thus keeping the leaf chain clean.

Collection box

Collection box

A collection tank is particularly useful on stony soils. The stones can be collected and unloaded at the specified place with the help of the hydraulically driven discharge conveyor.

Wizard systems

Ease of operation due to wizard systems - Automatic adjustment of conveyors

Ease of operation due to wizard systems - Automatic adjustment of conveyors

1.  Drive speed-dependent control of conveyors

2.  Load-depending control of conveyors

3.  Speed of conveyors without automatic functions

  • Optimal conveyor regulation with no additional effort due to the combination of driving speed-dependent and load-dependent control
  • When the driving speed changes, the speeds of sieve conveyors 1 and 2 as well as pintle belt 1 are adjusted proportionally to the driving speed
  • In case of temporary load peaks, the load-dependent control temporarily increases the speed of sieve conveyor 2 and pintle belt 1 in order to avoid reduced cleaning performance or blockages
  • For particularly efficient and gentle harvesting with the automatic conveyor regulation, the minimum and maximum speed can be set individually
  • Saving of up to 6 lifting programs and manual conveyor control possible for cleaning and service purposes

ROPA potato crusher

The ROPA potato crusher with integrated stone protection is a sustainable, herbicide-free and resource-saving method for reducing regrowth of potatoes in the successor crop. The potato press crushes and grinds the tubers sorted out via the discharge chutes and trash track. This promotes decay and consistently prevents the germination of tubers the next year.

FUNCTION AND BENEFITS OF THE ROPA POTATO CRUSHER

Content image

1. Shredding blade of Hardox on a crushing tire

Small pieces are beat off large potatoes until these are caught, crushed, and pressed by the pressing rollers
Large clods are broken up into small pieces, caught, and also crushed

2. Hydraulic drive of the rubber wheels

The friction effect of the different rotational speeds of the wheels reinforces the shredding during pressing
The speeds can be adjusted variably with a quantity controller

3. Mechanical guard against stones and foreign bodies via spiral springs for pre-tensioning - for uninterrupted harvesting

1. Quantity controller for speed adjustment

2. Very quiet operation

  • No direct contact of the pressing rollers
  • The distance between the pressing rollers can be set variably with a spindle

Rubber tires as pressing rollers

  • Low wear
  • Little application of force
  • Quiet and low-vibration running, even with more stones in the soil
  • Variably adjustable air pressure in the wheels

The potato crusher consists of two pneumatic wheels driven at different speeds

Hydraulic spreading up to 300 mm for free access

Harvesting possible without pressing function

Opens for extremely large foreign bodies

Sorting platform

Comfortable sorting platform

The large-dimensioned sorting platform provides enough place for up to 5 operators. Thanks to the pull-out sorting stand the platform can be extended by 300 mm. The trash conveyor, which can be independently adjusted in speed, transports the admixtures sorted out by the UFK to the right discharge chute. The discharge chutes with rounded edges reliably guide the sorted out admixtures onto the trash discharge conveyor, which can guide the admixtures back into the sieve channel 2 if required.

Work platform, extendable by 300 mm – generous work surface for greater freedom of movement

Individually attachable cushion units, a hand-washing container, and a drink holder provide additional comfort at the picking table. It can be conveniently accessed via a foldable ladder with dampening and pinch protection.

Sunshade canopy, height-adjustable

Sunshade canopy, height-adjustable

The ROPA sunshade or weather protection canopy keeps the sorting staff protected from sun and bad weather during harvesting. (optional, can be expanded to include side protection)

Free positioning of platforms, which can be adjusted in height

Free positioning of platforms, which can be adjusted in height

Work at the sorting platform is very comfortable, as the sorting staff can easily change the working height of the height-adjustable platforms.

Seat at the Picking Table

Seat at the Picking Table

A comfortable seat at the picking table can help maintain productivity during potato harvesting while also protecting the health of workers. (optional)
