Keiler 2 RK22 with 4 pintle belt cleaning

The ROPA Keiler RK22 has large cleaning components with maximum cleaning area for gentle and efficient cleaning.

The ROPA Keiler is particularly efficient for harvesting on heavy soils and/or during bad weather.

Belts & rollers - longer cleaning paths

All belts and rollers are hydraulically driven and therefore speeds can be steplessly adjusted.

4 pintle belt cleaning concept

Powerful, yet gentle cleaning

  • The cleaning units can be adjusted steplessly and independently of the PTO shaft speed
  • Flatter ascent of sieve conveyor 1 for an even potato flow
  • Low fall stage and large-dimensioned cleaning units
  • Unique 4-pintle belt cleaning concept combined with throughput and cleaning performance
  • The best stone and clog separation thanks to rotating finger comb on pintle belt 4
  • Large sorting section with trash conveyor and operation terminal

Horizontal displacement of the deflector rollers on pintle belt 3

Further along the cleaning path of the new Keiler 2, at pintle belt 3 the deflector rollers can be shifted horizontally. This allows the crop flow to pintle belt 4 to be adjusted according to the cleaning requirements.
Another new feature is the independent speed adjustment of both UFK rows at pintle belt 4.
In future, the speed of the picking conveyor and the trash track can be adjusted independently of each other both from the tractor cab and at the sorting platform. Separate control buttons are installed for the trash track.
Even with the many useful additional options the perfect accessibility and service-friendliness of the previous model have been retained and further improved.

Separation of potatoes pintle belt 1 to pintle belt 4

Separation of potatoes from admixture and leaf residues at the pintle belt 1

  • The pintle belt runs in a straight line backwards for gentle and careful transfer from sieve conveyors to pintle belts
  • Hydraulically driven pintle belt and deflector rollers
  • Triple deflector rollers (optionally 4-part deflector rollers) for efficient cleaning and guidance of the crop flow

Separation of potatoes from admixture and small leaves at the pintle belt 2

  • Gentle transfer of potatoes from pintle belt 1
  • Efficient cleaning even at high throughput

Hydraulic incline adjustment of the common frame of pintle belts 1 & 2

  • An additional automatic slope compensation and adjustment of the cleaning intensity are possible due to hydraulic incline adjustment of the common frame of pintle belts 1 & 2

Potato transport and separation at the 3rd pintle belt

  • Longer pintle belt for gentle and smooth potato flow
  • The feeding point into the UFK can be changed by adjustment of the deflector rollers

Separation of potatoes from stones and solid clogs via the pintle belt 4 and UFK

  • The pintle belt can be selected individually for different conditions
  • The finest possible separation performance thanks to hydraulic adjustments on pintle belt 4 and UFK

Deflector rollers instead of UFK at the pintle belt 4

  • For higher throughput, no additional stone separation required
