RK22 in operation at the Wolkenburg farm
Keiler 2 Classic at the Wolkenburg farm: a special Keiler 2 harvests around 220 hectares of table potatoes every year in the south-west of Saxony. The Wolkenburg farm uses a RK22, equipped with deflector rollers instead of a rotating finger comb on the pintle belt 2.
In order to increase the efficiency and shorten the harvesting time, Mr Stassen uses a Keiler with an overloading bunker.
In addition, the farm uses a swather as a support for the maintenance-friendly harvester. It lays the potatoes from two ridges between the respective neighboring ridges. The pickup of the Classic is equipped with an additional, height-adjustable central share and half ridge drums. In this way, the potatoes can be picked up without being damaged.
Focus on throughput and product protection
This method not only increases the efficiency, but also enhances gentle handling of the product. As there is always a large quantity of potatoes in the harvester, the tubers protect each other from bumping into any cleaning elements.
Keiler 2 RK22 Classic with overloading bunker for higher efficiency
The RK22 Classic specializes in combining power and high throughput with maximum product protection. The powerful hydraulics and very few deflection points in the cleaning path, with only two pintle belts, ensure maximum efficiency. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that the Wolkenburg farm mostly relies on the user-friendly and easily accessible Classic when harvesting potatoes.

Besonderheiten beim RK22 Classic
Durch die wenigen Umlenkpunkte im Bänderverlauf und die leistungsstarken Hydraulikantriebe ist der RK22 Classic auch extrem durchsatzstark. Besonders auf gut siebfähigen Böden zeigt der Classic seine Schlagkraft.
An dem flach ansteigenden und maximal dimensionierten Verleseband mit optionaler Beimengenspur können bis zu 8 Personen bequem arbeiten. In Verbindung mit höhenverstellbaren Podesten kann hier jeder Arbeitsplatz individuell und ergonomisch eingerichtet werden.

Efficient cleaning with 2 pintle belts
Many proven components of the Keiler 2 have been adopted in the design of the Keiler 2 RK22 Classic. The main difference between the potato harvesters is mainly due to both pintle belts which function as separation units on the Keiler 2 RK22 Classic. The overall design demonstrates very high output with maximum product protection in areas with low cleaning requirements (sandy or separated soils). The Keiler 2 RK22 Classic with the pintle belt 1 and pintle belt 2 cleaning systems is easy to monitor, it is accessible and easy to service.

Product quality and protection are the key points
The Keiler 2 Classic is our expert for light conditions. The Classic model has two pintle belts instead of four. The 2-pintle system combines product protection with the best possible quality control and high harvesting capacity. On sandy, well sieving soils, the crop is gently conveyed into the bunker along a shortened cleaning path. The gained space is used for an enlarged sorting stand, which offers space for up to 8 workers for a quality sorting.
