More than 230,000 specialists and visitors came to SIMA, which was held in the French capital. Once again, this trade show proved itself dynamic and internationally significant. The 78th SIMA in Paris was a complete success for the ROPA France team. Presented in the ROPA booth were the latest sugar beet and potato harvesting technologies, as well as Albach chippers and, for the first time, Bergmann sugar beet cleaning vehicles.

Unique booth design with log cabin and Bavarian beer garden

The tradition at ROPA is to design and build our trade show booths in-house - we do not use a trade show specialist. ROPA places great value on continuing the company's unique marketing and booth design with log cabin and beer garden. It represents a traditional, down to earth family company with our roots in Bavaria, an international outlook and great powers of innovation. ROPA is particularly noted for maintaining close contact with customers and providing every customer with a personal customer support representative. Customers and potential customers feel at home with ROPA thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and the personal attention at the booth in spite of the crowds of visitors.

Keiler 2

The jury of European journalists from Terre--net and the Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag have named the ROPA Keiler 2 the "Machine of the Year 2019." We are very pleased about this award and regard it as confirmation of our previous work and inspiration for the future.

At the ROPA France trade show booth, the Keiler 2 was presented with the overloading bunker option. This option impresses people thanks to its increased efficiency and greater capacity, since it can be overloaded while driving. The overload bunker holds more than 5.5 tons of potatoes and features newly-developed automatic bunker emptying. The structural separation of bunker trough and unloading conveyor enables time-saving and complete bunker emptying.

Keiler 1

The ROPA Keiler 1 is a one-row potato harvester that can be used for the harvest of special crops. The quick-change system is a practice-oriented solution for potato farmers who may need to change their pickup system several times a day to harvest onions, carrots or red beets. ROPA has designed a practical new quick-change system for switching between ridge and swath pickup. The Keiler 1 pickup can be changed in just a few minutes. One person can perform the complete coupling process easily and without any special tools.

Sugar beet harvesters Tiger 6 and Panther 2

The Tiger 6 impresses with its new machine design, which has been presented with the Red Dot Design Award. The "R-Soil Protect" hydraulic drive system, which is extremely gentle on the soil, has automatic slope compensation, providing the basis for long-term soil protection during the sugar beet harvest. The more powerful bunker-emptying mechanism provides faster truck loading on the move. ROPA R-Cab2 comfort cabin with glass touch terminal, WiFi interface and several automatic programs offers the greatest driving comfort for the best harvesting results.

All ROPA lifting units have a fully hydraulic drive for the complete lifting unit. Our product line includes 6, 8, and 9-row harvesting units with various row widths and hydraulic individual row adjustment. 6-row variable harvesting units can be adjusted optionally directly from the driver's cabin to 45 and 50 cm row spacing.

Overloading during harvest was demonstrated clearly in the ROPA trade show booth since the Panther 2 was exhibited in combination with the Bergmann RRW 400 sugar beet cleaning vehicle. In many regions of France, overloading while driving is standard practice, especially on long stretches where even the bunker volume of the Tiger 6 is not sufficient from field start to finish. Thanks to the extra-long unloading conveyor on the front side of the machine, the driver of the Panther 2 has the best possible view of the unloading process. The extra-long unloading conveyor was based on the length and concept of the Tiger 6.

Maus 5

The Maus 5 is impressive with the redesigned R-Concept cabin. Its overall design combines capacity and efficiency with the 10.2 m wide pickup system and it offers practice-oriented developments featuring the latest technical innovations. The counterweight arm, which is more than 9 meters long, guarantees absolute stability on every terrain even with the truck loader at maximum width.

Albach

As the general importer for Albach in France, ROPA France presented the Diamant 2000. High power, excellent torque, and low speed: the Volvo engine design and the chipping and driving properties of the self-driving chipper suit one another optimally. The Diamant 2000 draws its power from the 768 hp/565 kW Volvo engine, as do the ROPA Tiger 6 and Panther 2 harvesters. With a maximum road speed of 70 km/h, the chipper has now been approved for road travel in France.

Bergmann

Starting on January 1, 2020, the French subsidiary ROPA France will serves as the general importer for Ludwig Bergmann GmbH. This cooperation was officially confirmed at SIMA. The Bergmann RRW 400 two-axle sugar beet cleaning vehicle with a 40 cubic meter capacity and a TSW 6240 W universal spreader were presented in the ROPA trade show booth.

ROPA France

Here, we in Sittelsdorf would like to like to praise the whole ROPA France team and thank them for the lovingly and beautifully designed ROPA booth at Sima! The ROPA trade show booth was planned and built completely in-house according to the planning and design of Carolin Paintner.
