Effective immediately, ROPA Fahrzeug und Maschinenbau GmbH is taking over exclusive sales for the Bijlsma Hercules storage technology in all of German (except Schleswig-Holstein). Thanks to the cooperation with the Dutch specialist in storage, sorting, and processing technology, farmers will benefit from high-quality storage technologya nd the associated support via ROPA's extensive sales and service network.

In the newly-designed shoroom of ROPA Rhineland's location in Viersen, in the future, customers will be able to see and test machines for various storage technologies in addition to potato harvesters and haulm toppers. Similarly, various in-stock and used machines from ROPA and Bijlsma Hercules will be exhibited. In ROPA Rhineland's central spare parts warehouse directly in the Viersen location, many high-quality service parts are kept and sent out if necessary.

Now ROPA can expand its product program for professional deployment in potato farming. In addition to the familiar Keiler models for gentle potato harvesting, ROPA now offers farmers innovative storage technology for potatoes. This way, the potatoes harvested can be cleaned gently with minimal damage, cleaned, sorted, and stored. The similar corporate philosophies of the two family-owned companies ROPA and Bijlsma Hercules with regard to quality, innovative power, employee and customer loyalty will form a very good basis for successful cooperation.

Bijlsma Hercules, which has been family-managed since 1938, offers storage, sorting, and processing technology for professional farmers. Its expertise applies not just to potatoes, but also to onions and other tubers. A big plus for customers is the opportunity to combine standard devices with custom-tailored solutions in order to serve individual requirements and create customer-specific overall solutions.

The main features of Bijlsma Hercules products are the gentle and quiet electric drives, unobstructed flow of potatoes, and high-quality production for an especially long service life.

ROPA takes over exclusive sales and service of storage technology. The sorting and processing technology will still be sold directly by Bijlsma Hercules. With this step, ROPA can offer professional potato growers in Germany a still better and broader product portfolio.
