We are very pleased to share with you that our longtime partners at Aktas have opened their new ROPA branch office in Konya. Congratulations to the entire team of Yeni Aktas and especially to the Aktas family for this milestone! The impressive participation of more than 300 people in the opening celebration is a clear sign of the success and recognition that the Aktas enjoy in Turkey. We are proud to be part of this successful partnership and look forward to continuing our successful cooperation in the future.

A look at the sugar industry in Turkey:
There are an impressive 330,000 hectares of sugar beets cultivated in Turkey
In Turkey there are a total of 33 sugar factories; of these, 25 are state-owned and 8 are private
ROPA's presence in Turkey:
- Currently there are 120 ROPA machines in use
- ROPA's market share is, according to information from Faruk Aktas, an impressive 90% of the Maus and 40% of functioning fully automated sugar beet harvesters
The parts warehouse holds products valued at approximately EUR 400,000. To support customer service, there are 3 service vehicles and one truck with a flat-bed trailer for transporting machines.
In Konya, there are currently 6 employees, including 3 mechanics, 1 welder, 1 accounting employee, and 1 cook. The new branch office encompasses about 3,000 square meters; of these 900 square meters are occupied by the workshop, 300 square meters by the office, and the rest is open space.
