Harvested were waxy table potatoes of the Amandine variety. Then, the potatoes were loaded into crates and transported from the field directly to the packing center. This procedure is typical for the area around Outarville (Eure-et-Loire), where, when grown in the soil that is more than 30% clay, potatoes have an especially nice peel. The clumps and stones in this area require machines with an especially gentle separation system in order to maintain the quality of the goods. That's why our customers Les 3 Laboureurs, NegoBeauce, ETA Sébastien Bertheau and Boulet selected ROPA potato harvesters. The completely hydraulic drive combined with the four pintle belts and the UFK separation system has proven extremely powerful, gentle and maintenance-friendly.

During the potato harvest from the beginning of August to the beginning of October, the seven machines generally harvest together on a field. Some harvesters are deployed starting in June for the onion and garlic harvest. Our customers and their seven ROPA Keilers are assisted by the very well-trained service technicians at the ROPA France branch office in Janville (Eure-et-Loire).
