In the "potato country" of Lower Saxony, the harvest has come to a successful conclusion. We have collected some impressions for you of the best time of the year.

NDS-Agrar GbR, Asendorf

Innovation writ large

Jannik Beneke (middle) and his companion Jan Niebuhr (left) established their contact company in 2019. Driven by their passion for potato culture, they found our ROPA Keiler 2 when they were searching for an appropriate and innovative potato harvester. In the year after that, they ordered a second harvester from ROPA. Since then, they have been underway with both of their Keilers in nearly all corners of Lower Saxony. "From Bremervörde to Osnabrück, we harvest potatoes in all conceivable locations," says Beneke.

Practical examples from the Emsland

"There are no challenges that we can't confront with our harvesters," that's the motto of Jannik Beneke, Operations Manager of NDS Agrar (middle)

NDS-Agrar, a contracting company in Asendorf near Diepholz, has sworn by its Keiler 2 since 2019.

Sophisticated technology makes many things possible

As a trained agricultural machine mechanik, Jannik Beneke and the farmer Jan Niebuhr were especially enthusiastic about the Keiler's construction. "The ROPA is simply technically more sophisticated and the accessibility of individual components is simply unbeatable." The contractors also emphasized the fully hydraulic drive, which makes it possible to adjust the individual separating units steplessly.  For the various locations and ways potatoes are used, they especially like to use the harvest programs, which can be programmed and saved. Another big advantage are the "nice, big tires" for especially wet locations. "They make many things possible." "I can't get really stuck in the Keiler," reports Beneke with satisfaction.

The two Keilers speak for themselves

"In the first year, we were truly convinced, so that we bought the second one right away." In past years, the Keilers have proven themselves with regard to power and separation "time and time again" even in direct comparison to other manufacturers.
For NDS-Agrar of Asendorf, Jannik Beneke says there are no challenges that they cannot confront with the ROPA Keiler 2. "Looking back, we would choose the ROPA Keiler every time," is how Jannik Beneke sums things up.

Demonstration by CLAAS Weser Ems and Fritz Bremer e.K.

The Keiler 2s demonstrated in the Emsland in Lower Saxony have also made a good impression. CLAAS Weser Ems and Bremer Landmaschinen won people over there with their 4-hedgehog demonstrator machine, especially with regard to cleaning and power.

PALANDT AgrarTec GmbH, Uelzen

Around Uelzen, PALANDT AgrarTec GmbH has done a wide variety of demonstrations with its Keiler 2 Classic Silver Edition. Both in organic and conventional agriculture, table, seed and industrial potatoes were harvested.

In the especially light but changeable locations, the Keiler 2 Classic was able to win people over completely. With its two pintle belts, it demonstrated the gentlest possible treatment of the product without having to forego thorough cleaning. In many places, especially on organic farms, the Keiler's good field hygiene ensured an exceptionally small quantity of waste potatoes and a large quantity of positive reports.
