The Matzerath family of Titz-Sevenich

Planning reliability even in stormy times

At the start of October, we visited the Matzerath family in Linnich. The ROPA Keiler 2 there has been running since the 2020 season.
Kilian Matzerath, who harvested french fry potatoes with the Keiler, drove the Keiler for the first time this year and he is enthusiastic: "The operation is really easy and self-explanatory," he reports.

His father Jürgen Matzerath emphasized the easier work in the harvest season when they the ROPA Keiler in 2020. "Thanks to the Keiler's great power, we are able to work under less time pressure during the stressful harvest time; we were even able to help out some of our neighbors."

Werreland GbR of Kirchlenger relies on the Keiler 2 once again

At Werreland GbR in the Kirchlengern district, we have been using two Keiler 2s since 2017.  Their first pair was replaced in 2020 and for the coming season will be replaced again with two brand-new ROPA Keiler 2s.
Operations Manager Wesseling told us how they found the Keilers initially. A neighboring operation had driven a test harvest with its Keiler at Werreland GbR in 2016.
"There, we were already able to see that even with sensitive products, the handling was very gentle," reports Wesseling.

Yasin Kamp, who has been harvesting potatoes at with the ROPA Keiler 2 at Werreland GbR since 2017, especially emphasized the Keiler's low maintenance and easy operation.
"We save a lot of time and nerves during the season, which is why I wouldn't trade it for anything."

Thanks to the high starch content, french fry potatoes are especially sensitive to damage. Another point in favor of the ROPA Keiler is the 3-meter road width.Due to the relatively small farms, Werreland GbR harvested approximately 350 hectares distributed across 70 different farms. Thanks to the telescopic axis, the ROPA Keiler's 3-meter road width is especially well-suited for frequent field changes and road trips.
Looking back, Werreland GbR would choose the ROPA Keiler every time. "More precisely, we have chosen the ROPA Keiler 2 again," emphasized Wesseling with a satisfied smile.

ROPA Keiler demonstrations 2021

The Keiler impressed all down the line

Anyone who is not yet relying on ROPA for harvesting potatoes and vegetables has the opportunity to be impressed by the many demonstrations of our ROPA Keilers. Regardless of whether you're producing table potatoes or industrial goods, in the demonstrations, conducted by our ROPA branch in Rhineland in Viersen together with the local service and sales partner Greving Landmaschinen, RWZ Agrarzentrum Rommerskirchen and Landtechnik Pechtheyden RWZ, our Keilers impressed and won over many potential customers with their great power and gentle treatment of products.
