The contractor E. T. A Prest’Agri of Félix RICHARD, with his father Cyrill and his partner Baptiste, offers a complete range of services for potato cultivation, from planting to harvesting through to trading and storage in refrigerated sheds.
The company is in South Paris, 20 km from the ROPA France subsidiary in Janville. They process 10,000 to 12,000 tons of potatoes each year, of which approximately 50% are sold directly after harvest and packed in big bags, while the other half is stored in one of their refrigerated rooms. E. T. A. offers additional services, such as harvesting sugar beet, mowing seed onions, and grain trading.
The vehicle fleet consists of two ROPA Keiler 2, which operate in the three departments of Loiret, Loir-et-Cher and Eure-et-Loire between Orléans, Chartres and Bourges. They can harvest approximately 20 hectares/day with the machines
Felix contacted ROPA France because he valued their specialized knowledge. He chose two Keiler 2, with three employees working on each, for greater versatility and flexibility. AGRI BEAUCE - Get to know Philippe IMBEAU and his ROPA Keiler 2
On 15 the contractors Charmilles and AgriBeauce visited ROPA France.
The Agri Beauce group started its first campaign with about 400 hectares of potatoes with two ROPA Keiler 2s, which were purchased by the Imbeau family. Both machines are equipped with the new double UFK separation system.

Philippe Imbeau studied the machine well before investing and it did not disappoint! Simplicity, robustness, standardized parts are all benefits that dictated his decision. Pom'Services is a contracting company based in Pommier, northern France, which owns two ROPA Keilers 2. One of the potato harvesters is equipped with a double lifting chain, as well as a new digital video system.
Both Keilers travel over a large area from the north to the south of the Hauts de France region during the season to harvest potatoes, onions and beetroot.
The regions in Northern France are extremely wet, but the double chain enables even better cleaning on difficult soils and thus more efficient harvesting. It makes the work easier for both sorters and drivers.

The new digital terminals make it easier for the driver to monitor the crop as it flows through the machine. The touch terminals are now 12 inches large, and the driver can zoom in for an even more detailed view of the crop. Furthermore, up to seven different views can be selected and they can be displayed in portrait or landscape format. The brightness can be adjusted as well. The operator can quickly and easily monitor and adjust the settings of the machine.
"This equipment enables me, as the operator of the machine, to optimize the machine settings more easily during harvesting. The quality of work has been immensely improved. At the same time, ROPA offers outstanding customer service like no other," says the driver. His pride in harvesting with the high quality ROPA machines that make his daily work easier is obvious.
