Recently, ROPA welcomed the 45th Bavarian Potato Queen, Anna Fischhaber, to Sittelsdorf. She was accompanied by her family and employees from the ROPA team and representatives of the growers' association of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, the organizers of the annual selection of the queen.
The visit was organized by Bayerischer Kartoffel GmbH of Munich, an initiative of Bavarian potato growers and markets from all seven government districts. This association, established in 2013, advocates for the image, quality, and marketing of Bavarian potatoes.
Queen Anna I. had already had some contact with ROPA technology. The Fischhaber family has relied on a ROPA Keiler on its own farm since 2019, and we were also able to welcome the Bavarian Potato Queen to our booth at Agritechnica. She got to know more about ROPA at various exhibitions such as the one at Harlander Landtechnik.
During her visit to ROPA, Queen Anna I. and her companions learned a lot about the history of the company, they visited the main plant in Sittelsdorf, and met with the Paintner family.
To complete the good visit, Anna Fischhaber presented the Paintner family with a banner before the election of the next Bavarian Potato Queen took place on July 12 in Schrobenhausen. Anna I. will support the new queen for a year as Vice-Queen and pass along her experiences.
