Personal information
Personal information is information about you. It includes name, address and email address. You are not required to give any personal information to access our web site. In some cases we will require your name and address and additional information to be able to offer the desired service.
The same applies if we supply you with information at your request or if we respond to your questions. We will always inform you in such cases. Otherwise we will only save information that you automatically or freely provide.
If you make use of our services, we generally only collect the information absolutely necessary to provide our services. We may request additional information, which may be supplied voluntarily. If we process personal information, this is to be able to offer our services or for our business purposes.
Data saved automatically
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and save information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:
Date and time of the request
Name of the file requested
Page from which the file was requested
Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
Web browser and operating system used
Complete IP address of the requesting computer
Data quantity transferred
There is no combination of this data with other data sources. Processing is done in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 let. f GDPR based on our justified interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, especially to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, we save this data briefly. No conclusion about individual people is possible using this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by abbreviating the IP address on the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to make reference to individual users. The data is also processed for statistical purposes in anonymized form; there is no comparison with other data stocks or forwarding to third parties, even in extract. Only in the course of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report, is there a description of the number of page calls.
Cookies
If you access our web sites, we may save information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that an Internet server sends to your browser and are saved on your hard disk. They only save the IP address, no personal information. The information in the cookies allows us to recognize you the next time you access our web site, which makes access easier for you. Legal basis for the use of cookies is the justified interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 let. f GDPR.
You can of course also access our web sites without accepting cookies. If you do not wish your computer to be recognized next time you access our web sites, you can not accept cookies by changing the settings in your browser to "reject cookies". See the instructions in your browser for this procedure. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may encounter restrictions when accessing some sections of our web sites.
Google Doubleclick
Doubleclick by Google is a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Doubleclick by Google uses cookies in order to present you with advertising content that is relevant to you. Here, your browser is assigned a pseudonymous identification number (ID) in order to check which advertisements were displayed in your browser and which advertisements were called up. The cookies do not contain any personal information. The use of the DoubleClick cookies allows Google and its partner websites only to display advertising on the basis of previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The information generated by the cookies is sent by Google for evaluation on a server in the USA and saved there. Google heeds the data privacy provisions of the "Privacy Shield" agreement and is registered with the "Privacy Shield" program of the US Department of Commerce. Transmission of the data by Google to third parties is only done based on legal regulations or in the course of contract data processing. In no case will Google combine your data with other data collected by Google.
Through the use of our web pages, you declare yourself in agreement with the processing of data collected about you by Google and the manner of data processing described above, as well as the purpose named there. You can prevent saving of cookies by changing settings in your web browser; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our web site. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookies and relating to your use of the web pages to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via this link under the point DoubleClick Deactivation Add-on. Alternatively, you can also deactivate the Doubleclick cookies with this opt-out.
Google Web Fonts
For better visual display of various information in our Internet presence, we use Google Webfonts (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). When you call up the page, the Webfonts are transferred to the browser's cache in order to use them for the display. If the browser does not support the Google Webfonts or forbids access, the text will be displayed in a default font. When calling up the page, no cookies are saved for the website user. Data that is transmitted in connection with the page call is sent to resource-specific domains such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com. They will not be connected to data, which may be collected or used in connection with the parallel use of authenticated Google services such as Gmail.
You can set your browser so that the fonts are not loaded by the Google servers (for example, by installing add-ons such as NoScript or Ghostery for Firefox). If your browser does not support the Google Fonts or if you forbid access to the Google servers, the text will be displayed in the system's default font. For information about the data privacy conditions for Google Webfonts, visit:

Matomo (formerly PIWIK) (web analysis service)
We use the web analysis service Matomo on our website. Matomo uses cookies for this analysis. Cookies are small text files, which are saved on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookies, such as time, location and frequency of your access to the website, including your IP address, is sent to our PIWIK server in the USA and saved there. Your IP address will be anonymized during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will not be transferred to third parties. You can prevent installation of cookies by changing settings in your web browser; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our web site.
YouTube in advanced data privacy mode
We use the provider YouTube to incorporate videos. The videos were embedded in advanced data privacy mode. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its Internet page. YouTube uses these, among other things, to collect video statistics, to prevent deception and to improve user-friendliness. This also causes the establishment of a connection with the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video, this could trigger additional data processing processes. We have no influence over this. For more information about data privacy at YouTube, see their data privacy declaration: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube
Customer account
For each customer who registers appropriately, we set up a password-protected, direct access to the stock of data that we store (customer account). Here, you can view data about your completed, open and recently sent orders and manage your address data, bank details and newsletter. You are obliged to treat your personal access data confidentially and not to make it available to any unauthorized third parties. We assume no liability for misused passwords unless we were responsible for the misuse.
With the "remain logged in" function, we would like to make visiting our web pages as easy as possible. This function allows you to use our services without having to log in again each time. For security reasons, however, you will be asked to enter your password if, for example, you are changing your personal data or you would like to place an order. We recommend that you do not use this function if the computer is used by several users. We would like to point out that the "remain logged in" function is not available if you use a setting that automatically deletes saved cookies after each session.
Safety
We have implemented technical and administrative measures to protect your personal information from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers are subject to the applicable privacy laws.
All personal information that we collect and process is encrypted before it is transferred. This means that your information cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process and our privacy statements are continuously revised. Please ensure that you have the latest version.

this processing is done using automated processes.
If technically feasible, you can request that we transmit your data directly to another responsible authority.
Right of objection:
If we are processing your data for a justified interest, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply for a profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can prove compelling privacy reasons for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing serves the pressing, exercise or defense of legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct advertising at any time without specifying reasons.
Right to complain:
If you are of the opinion that with the processing of your data we are violating German or European data privacy law, we ask you to make contact with us in order to clarify questions.
