Non-jamming PR lifting unit with hydraulic stone protection

The PR2h lifting unit is equipped with counter-rotating oscillating shares and completely maintenance-free hydraulic stone protection. The 90 cm large depth-control wheels combined with the intelligent three-point suspension guarantee accurate depth control of the lifter. Maintenance costs are minimised with adjustable taper roller bearings in transmissions and the oscillating share drive.

Defoliator unit

PAS - leaf ejection

ROPA all-round defoliator with leaf ejection

The beet leaves are shredded and spread over the harvested area by the leaf auger or leaf-spreader. A press of the button in the cabin switches the machine between topping modes. An optional leaf pile conveyor can be installed for harvesting beet leaves (biogas or dairy).

PAS - integral leaf-layer

ROPA all-round defoliator with integrated leaf storage

The beet leaves are shredded and deposited between the rows. A press of the button in the cabin switches the machine between topping modes.

PIS - ROPA integral defoliator

ROPA integral defoliator - standard model for normal harvesting conditions

Leaves from the beet crowns are mulched with robust defoliator knives and spread between the rows. Therefore, beet leaves with all their nutrients are evenly delivered to the soil - an optimal condition for further soil cultivation as green waste transforms fast into humus.

Micro-Topper

The comb of the Micro-Topper follows each beet head, adjusting the trimming gap to the size of the head, so that the beet is cut not too much and returns maximum yield. The intensity of the cut can be easily adjusted from the cabin. You may choose between topping and "shaving off" leaves only (micro-topping).

Maximum revenue with no additional effort

The ROPA Micro-Topper is the practical solution for harvesting the whole beet crowns without leaves that simultaneously meets the requirements of farmers, contractors and sugar mills! The ROPA Micro-Topper harvests the complete beet with head but without leaves. The defoliator is always run so high at reduced speed that the leaf cuttings are remained on the beet. This increases the service life of the defoliator knives (less contact with the soil and stones) while reducing fuel consumption.

Rubber-defoliator

The both fully hydraulic driven cleaning rotors can be adjusted in the rotation speed and height independently from the other – unique! Various settings can be stored and accessed on the joystick using a memory function. Each rotor shaft can be adjusted at the height independently from the other. As a result, the operator can react quickly and effectively to different requirements due to changing beet crops.

euro-Tiger V8-4 XL - efficiency and power

Lifting units in the PR-XL series

Significantly higher area performance with reduced fuel consumption leads to lower costs during the profitable and effective sugar beet harvesting. By attaching wide lifting units to the front of the ROPA euro-Tiger the front axle of the Tiger can be fitted with even wider and more soil-protective 900/60R 32 or 1050/50R 32 Terra tyres. Fewer passes and manoeuvres also contribute to better soil protection. With the option of overloading while driving area performance of more than 3 ha per hour can be achieved under favourable harvest conditions.

Cleaning

Gentle, efficient and individually adjustable

The hydraulically tensioned sieve conveyor efficiently transports the beets to the first strainer wheel. The portal axis enable maximum throughput without slowing the beet flow or damaging the beets. The driver can steplessly adjust the sieve conveyor speed and reverse it if necessary from the cabin. The automatic beet flow monitor reliably prevent the machine from overflowing. Three sieving systems clean the beets extremely efficiently and then transport them to the next stage.

Bunker

40 m³ large beet bunker

The euro-Tiger V8-4 offers a capacity greater than 40 m³. The auger conveyor first transports the sugar beets to the back of the bunker. This distributes the weight of the beets evenly over the two rear axles in accordance with the tyre size. The axle load of the front axles thus remains consistently low. When the rear section of the bunker is full (approx. 80% of the bunker volume), the ultrasonically controlled bunker auger is switched over and fills the front section of the bunker.

Yield indicator

The fill level of the bunker is displayed at the colour terminal. It is a valuable decision-making aid for the driver, because a display < 50% when turning clearly shows that the bunker has sufficient capacity for the beets harvested on the return run. The stepless hydraulically driven longitudinal and transverse conveyors are fitted with hardened pin chains and spring-steel bars. High-quality materials increase the service life of the floor conveyors and improve the economy of the machine.

Unloading conveyor

40 m³ in 50 seconds

The extended unloading conveyor empties the over 40 m³ of bunker load in only one minute. The unloading speed is steplessly adjustable. This enables loading on trucks driving beside the harvester without difficulty. The extended unloading conveyor enables precise layout of clamps up to 10 metres wide. Two different automatic heights can be saved for easy overloading or unloading.
