Ergonomic and comfortable
The cabin with its panoramic view, adopted from Tiger 6S, gives a generous feeling of space and functions as a centre for artificial intelligence and partially autonomous sugar-beet harvesting. The driver's position in the Panther 2S is the visual manifestation of leadership in technology and the breakthrough into a new era of networking in the sugar-beet harvest. Operation at the terminal with interactive buttons highlighted by the clear colour composition on the modern flat design is even more intuitive and has the same logic as tablets and smartphones. Intentionally used contrasts improve legibility and usability.
Terminals and operation
The Panther 2S has two 12.1 inch operating terminals with high pixel density resulting in even sharper resolution. The Panther 2S can be fully operated via the two rotary switches R-Direct and R-Select as an alternative to the touchscreen.
Ergonomic control element
The unloading conveyor and the bunker unloading can be controlled even more conveniently from the new ergonomic control element on the left armrest.
Ergonomic joystick
Five function buttons on the right multifunction joystick can be assigned as desired, for example with the wide-area window wiper.
R-View in the R-Touch display
The rear part of the machine is displayed on the monitor in the bird's eye view. Obstacles are visible and collisions can be avoided.
High resolution video display
In addition to the machine functions, the camera images and the status indications of the unload conveyor and bunker unloading can also be displayed on the left terminal.
The relevant camera image is automatically displayed on the left terminal when driving backwards or unloading the bunker.
The image quality of the high-resolution digital cameras installed as standard in the Panther 2S is significantly better. An additional Ethernet network was integrated into the machine to handle the resulting greatly increased volumes of data. Additional cameras can be installed optionally.

The driver is at the centre
There are generously dimensioned shelves, storage compartments and plenty of space around the driver. Standard equipment of the Panther 2S includes a ROPA Evolution Grammer comfort seat with heating and active ventilation, a cool box under the comfortable passenger seat as well as a DAB+ radio with hands-free set.
Automatic folding
The ROPA Panther 2S "transforms" automatically from road drive mode to field mode at the push of a button. Unloading conveyor, one metre wide ring elevator, bunker auger and other groups fold one by one, in some cases simultaneously. The sensor-controlled monitoring systems exclude operating errors and collisions. The entire folding process with simultaneous activation of all functions takes a very short time.
Main steering switch
The new "intelligent main steering switch" in red automatically synchronises the articulation and front-axle steering for travel on the road as well as straight-ahead positioning of the rear wheels.
Steering column
The interior has been upgraded even further, compared to the Tiger 6S. A slim and multi-adjustable steering column allows even better visibility of the lifting unit.

The Panther 2S is fully equipped with LED spotlights with the combination of working spotlights and headlights providing outstanding illumination.
Lights menu
Individual or all working lights can be switched on with a finger on the touch terminal. And again a one fingertip is enough to back up and recall three different lighting programs.
