Taurus T60
We are delighted to introduce the new Taurus T60. Following the highly successful launch of the first prototypes, this year's campaign will be supported by a limited pre-production batch of 60 units, which have been sold to selected customers in Europe and the USA.
The highlight is the new diesel-hybrid hydrogen engine with a system performance of 800 kW / 1,088 hp. This power is transmitted via the tried-and-tested ROPA CVR transmission to the three axles of the patented ROPA chassis with R-Soil Protect and slope compensation.
The maximum speed of 65 km/h is achieved with reduced engine speed , making it efficient, fuel-saving and motorway-approved.
Provided that local legislation permits, the Taurus T60 can also operate completely autonomously in combination with a ROPA Tiger 6S or Panther 2S.The driver of the Tiger controls the position of the Taurus T60 during the loading process.
