Royal visit to ROPA plant in Sittelsdorf

A day full of discoveries, emotions and experiences. We had some very special visitors. The Rhineland and Bavarian Potato Queens and the German Sugar Beet Queen and Vice Queen visited our factory in Sittelsdorf together with their families.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by our three Managing Directors and the team from Marketing and Sales. After a brief presentation about the history and growth of the ROPA company and an overview of the current product range, the exciting tour of our 30-hectare factory began.

A real highlight was the new logistics centre with its autonomous forklifts, which is currently in the testing phase. The emerging service centre also offered a first glimpse into the further operational development of our machinery manufacturing company.
The centrepiece of the tour was the assembly lines, on which the "Keiler" and "Maus" models are currently being produced. After a brief visit to Hermann Paintner's vintage vehicle collection and a technical product presentation by our factory representative Max Wallenberger, the queens themselves took to the wheel. During a test drive with the Tiger and Keiler, they were able to experience first-hand what modern agricultural machinery "made by ROPA" truly means.

The day came to a festive close with the traditional folk festival procession in Pfeffenhausen, complete with the ceremonial tapping of the first barrel and a convivial atmosphere well into the late evening hours.
We extend our sincere thanks for the visit and the wonderful commitment shown by these ambassadors for regional potato and sugar beet cultivation!
