ROPA Open House 2020 will not take place
ROPA claims to provide innovative technology of the highest quality. Same premise applies to the organisation of the ROPA Open House. Unfortunately, due to the current Corona pandemic and the resulting restrictions, it is not possible to conduct the traditional Open House.
ROPA Open House
Every other year, ROPA organizes its major in-house demonstration, in alternation with Agritechnica. Two years ago this event was organised on the occasion of the opening of ROPA Rheinland location in Viersen-Boisheim. For numerous visitors and fans of the agricultural machinery, this major event has now become legendary.
Review of ROPA Open House 2016
More than 15,000 people from around the world came to the last ROPA Open House in Sittelsdorf; it took place on the 27 ha premises of this family-owned company. Impressive harvesting machines, loaders, state-of-the-art sugar beet and potato harvesting technology and the latest technical innovations from ROPA were all demonstrated in action in the field. An interesting framework program with festival hall, agricultural exhibition, a trade exhibition with technology companies and plant breeders, plant tours, a fan shop, and much more provided plenty of entertainment for the guests.
Production is running on schedule
Production & assembly
Meanwhile, production, delivery, and spare parts service at ROPA are running on schedule. The long-term storage of important components has proven useful in recent weeks, thus delivery delays of supplied parts do not affect the production process. The safety of employees is a top priority at ROPA. That's why, among other things, an extensive hygiene concept has been introduced, which includes the conversion to shift work in some departments.
Transport & delivery
The production of loaders for the 2020 harvest season is mostly finished. Currently, the production lines are running for the Keiler potato harvester and the Tiger 6S sugar beet harvester. The latter has been recently presented at Agritechnica and has won several medals for its R-Soil Protect hydraulic chassis system and the integrated R-Connect telematics system. The assembled machines are currently leaving the factory on low loaders and are on their way to the new owners in more than 40 countries around the world.
