ROPA Rheinland/Viersen. ROPA traditionally presents a major demonstration every 2 years. In 2018 this will be in Viersen-Boisheim to mark the opening of ROPA Rheinland. The new ROPA location includes a major service centre, large warehouse and training facilities, an ideal centre for prompt customer service, education and training in one of the most important potato and sugar beet regions in Germany.

ROPA Rheinland opening event

For the first time there will be demonstrations of both sugar beet and potato harvesting in a field in front of the company premises. Several sugar beet harvesters, the latest ROPA Maus 5 and various potato harvesters will be showing off their capabilities. The innovations presented at Potato Europe will also be demonstrated.

The demonstration this year will be during the main harvest period on Sunday the 7th of October.

All visitors will be welcomed at ROPA on the open day for an interesting range of activities such as warehouse tours, fan shop, machine exhibition, demonstration of potato storage techniques and a trade exhibition with engineering companies, plant breeders and much more.

In addition to the demonstration, ROPA's "togetherness" will be prominently featured. Visitors to the festive assembly buildings will have ample time to discuss ideas. Visitors' physical well-being will not be left out with various delicacies, coffee and cake and a driver's bar. To keep the "young farmers" busy, there will be an array of children's activities on offer with numerous attractions, as well as pedal car and tractor courses.
