Sittelsdorf/Moscow. The ROPA Tiger 6, the most powerful sugar-beet lifter in the world, will be introduced to the world at the Agrosalon trade fair and it will be awarded a gold medal for innovation for its overall design. The heart of the machine is the new 700 hp or 768 hp engine with pump-nozzle injection and 16.12 litre capacity. Compared to the Tiger 5, power has been increased to 105 kW (142 hp). The new machine design has a perfectly integrated drive system with automatic slope compensation and is extremely gentle on the soil. The more powerful bunker-emptying mechanism provides faster truck loading on the move. The comfort cabin with glass touch terminal, Wi-Fi interface and numerous automatic programmes offers top driving comfort for the best lifting results.

Speech of thanks by Dr. Eberhard Krayl

Managing director Dr. Eberhard Krayl issued an acceptance speech in local dialect for the Agrosalon gold medal. The ROPA Tiger 6 sets new standards in beet harvesting, particularly for the occasionally extremely demanding harvest conditions in Russia.

Impressions of Agrosalon 2016

On October 04 - 07, 2016 one of the most important international agricultural technology exhibitions, AGROSALON, took place in Moscow. More than 200 companies from all over the world exhibited their agricultural machines and devices for harvesting and tilling over an area of approximately 60,000 square metres.

ROPA's participation was especially successful this year. The new "predator", the Tiger 6 from ROPA, celebrated its world premiere at the Agrosalon exhibition in Moscow. The ROPA Tiger 6 was awarded the Agrosalon gold medal for its technology and overall design as the most powerful sugar-beet lifter in the world. Our stand was always full of customers, interested parties, and representatives from the international press.

Everyone had the opportunity to sit in the first-class cabin and even try out all of the machine's functions on the terminal to get a good impression of the intuitive handling of the machine.

Many thanks to the team at our subsidiary ROPA RUS, who informed and looked after all customers and guests at the ROPA stand with a quintessentially Bavarian atmosphere and with a cosy beer garden. The "golden machine" was driven to its new owner immediately after the exhibition and now demonstrates its performance and lasting value out in the field.
