Manages even the most difficult harvesting conditions

The ROPA Keiler 2 can be equipped with an optional drive axle for increased traction and soil protection even under extremely difficult harvesting conditions. Even with this optional equipment, the road transport width is just 3.00 metres. The integrated freewheel of the axle enables speeds of up to 40 km/h when driving on the road.

A drive power of 2 t (20,000 N) can be applied to the wheel for short-term boost operation. In continuous operation a power of 1.2 t (12,000 N) can be transferred to the wheel. Coupling while driving is possible at any time at up to a speed of 8 km/h.

Automatic operation with tractors fitted with ISOBUS (for tractors with TECU stage 2 and higher) is simple and elegant. The drive axle is actuated automatically during start-up and controlled synchronously, then switched off again at standstill.

The maximum speed with active drive axle is 9.5 km/h with 650 rpm at the PTO, and 15 km/h at 1000 rpm PTO speed.

The power in boost operation is 65 kW at 9.5 km/h; 34 kW at 5 km/h and 19 kW in continuous operation at 5 km/h.

Despite the large-volume 850/50 R30.5 tyres, the steering angle is identical to the original axle and corresponds to +/- 20 degrees.
