Bright sunshine and summer temperatures of 29 degrees meant many visitors came down to Potato Day complete with show, experiments, and technical demonstrations.

There was no shortage of refreshments at the company headquarters of All in One, the potato planting technology manufacturer in Dötting. The potato storage facility that was converted for this event provided the ideal conditions for short lectures in lifting unit technology, plant protection, and pickling lines as well as for market evaluation. The demonstrations in lifting and planting started after lunch.

As well as many detailed solutions, the Keiler 2 has a fully hydraulic drive for optimal adjustment for cleaning. The Keiler 2 is independent of the PTO speed and therefore maintains all cleaning units in the optimal speed range. The result is reduced fuel consumption with reduced tractor engine speed, alongside a considerable reduction in noise. The intuitive user interface in connection with the completely full hydraulic drive enables optimum cleaning adjustment that can be only desired. Visitors can be impressed with the degree of protection that the potato has on the lifter.

A telescopic axle with extra large 750/60R 30.5 or optionally 800/45 R 30.5 radial tyres (less than 2 bar of tyre inflation pressure) enables a width of 3.00 meters on the road. In the field, the Keiler 2 is impressively stable thanks to the axle extending to 3.50 meters. This results in significantly enhanced safety for staff on the picking table, because even in extremely difficult terrain the risk of rollover is greatly reduced.

Several visitors were particularly interested in the variety of useful details in the Keiler 2, such as the hydraulically driven disc coulter, automatic ridge pressure regulation, height-adjustable platform, camera surveillance with colour monitor or the hydraulic levelling system as the best basis for high daily output during protective potato harvesting.
