ROPA recently welcomed in Sittelsdorf the 45th Bavarian Potato Queen, Anna Fischhaber. She was accompanied by her family, members of the ROPA team and representatives of the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen growers' association, the organisers of the annual queen election.
The visit was organised by an initiative of Bavarian potato growers and farmers from all seven administrative districts of Bavaria. This association, founded in 2013, is promoting the image, quality and marketing of potato grown in Bavaria.
Queen Anna I has already encountered ROPA technology on several occasions. The Fischhaber family has been using ROPA Keiler on their own farm since 2019 and we also had the honour to welcome the Bavarian Potato Queen at our stand during Agritechnica. She also saw stands of ROPA support centres at various exhibitions, such as the in-house exhibition at Harlander Landtechnik.
During the visit to ROPA, Queen Anna I and her companions learnt a lot about the history of the company, took a tour of the main plant in Sittelsdorf and exchanged thoughts with the Paintner family.
Anna Fischhaber handed over to the Paintner family a banner as a sign of support before the new elections for the Bavarian Potato Queen that will take place in Schrobenhausen on July, 12. Anna I will then support the new queen for another year as vice-queen and share her experience.
